The knobs travel through a large 120° arc – another feature derived from professional kitchens - giving you fine control of the heat output, essential when cooking sugar syrups, eggs, or milk-based sauces. And those elegant cast-iron pan supports allow you to slide pans on and off the heat, rather than having to lift the pan to move it. THE BURNERS ON THE GAS HOB know how large your pans are. Place a small pan on a lit burner and the flame will heat the bottom of the pan without spreading up the sides. Replace the small pan with a larger one and the flame grows to cover its entire base. This means that when you’re cooking you don’t have to put little pans on the smaller burners and large pans on larger burners.
