  • THE GRAND CUISINE SEAR HOB takes its inspiration directly from professional kitchens, with their need for power, control and ease of use. It’s the ideal way to quickly cook steaks, prawns, fish kebabs or seared peppers. The chrome-plated stainless steel surface rapidly heats up to an even temperature so you can place whatever you’re cooking directly onto the heat. There’s no mixing of flavours – you can sear seafood alongside meat – and that highly-polished shine means food won’t stick. It’s also a healthier way to fry, requiring just a drop of oil.

    A traditional entrecôte comes from the rib area and it’s full of flavour; use the

    Sear Hob to seal in the juices and then bake in the Combination Oven at 100

    degrees until the probe registers precisely 56 degrees in the centre. Perfection!

    Add seasonings such as peppercorns, ginger, cumin, paprika and even chili before

    searing – or simply enjoy its natural flavour unadorned.
